AIMRECA is an African initiative connecting natural resource stewardship, environmental science and community-led solutions.
Headquartered in Bomu-Gokana, Ogoni, Rivers State, Nigeria, AIMRECA is grounded in the realities of Ogoniland and the wider Niger Delta. Our perspective is African in scope: natural resources should create enduring opportunities while protecting the ecosystems and communities that sustain life.
We bring mineral and energy resource development into the same conversation as pollution assessment, ecosystem restoration, climate resilience, education and scientific innovation. Our approach emphasizes credible evidence, practical solutions, public engagement and lasting partnerships.
Through research, advocacy, sensitization campaigns, capacity building and collaboration, AIMRECA works toward a future in which responsible development and environmental protection reinforce one another.
